What is DIGITGAL?

Driving Girls in Technology, Growth and Leadership (DIGITGAL) is a project under the auspices of the APU-UNESCO Chair at Asia Pacific University in Malaysia. Our mission is to build an inclusive community of high-potential, talented women and girls and provide them with a platform to strengthen their capabilities in their respective fields. We aim to promote leadership and excellence among women and girls in science, technology, business, and other areas.

At DIGITGAL, we align our efforts with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities. Through our initiatives, we strive to empower women and girls, promote their mental health and overall well-being, and ensure equal access to opportunities regardless of socioeconomic background.
